ABOUT THIS COURSE

This exclusive course offers a unique real-world environment focusing on the administration of a Cisco IP telephony, video, and voice mail solution, including: Cisco Unified Communication Manager and Cisco Unity Connection.

You will learn about Cisco Unified Communication manager with hand on experience. You can use our call manager Lab to learn about supporting and troubleshooting the CUCM. This vital skill is highly on demand across the IT industry.

You will learn how to access the CUCM administrative pages to perform moves, add and changes of Cisco IP phones, while configuring users and associating them with phones. You will learn to configure simple features, such as DND, Music on Hold, Conferencing, shared lines and barge, as well as access to CUCM user web pages. Configuring voice mail accounts for users, managing licenses using Prime Licence Manager with Cisco Unified Communications Manager.

You will gain a basic understanding of the route patterns that are used for dialling, and Class of Service, for controlling who can dial where, such as internal, local, long distance and so forth.

REQUIREMENTS

• A-levels: A*A*A (including Chemistry and Mathematics) with both A*s in science subjects and/or Mathematics
• Advanced Highers: AA/AAB (including Chemistry and Mathematics)
• IB: 40 (including core points) with 7 in HL Chemistry and EITHER 6/7 in HL Mathematics Or. any other equivalent (see other UK qualifications, and international qualifications)
